Project type and project boundary for WELL Certification
The most appropriate typology depends on whether the project has tenant engagement or if the certification is being pursued solely by the owner/developer.
WELL Core Certification
This project type is appropriate when WELL Certification is pursued by the project owner/developer and when the tenant is unknown or is not involved in the certification process. For example, if the developer is constructing a speculative warehouse and does not have a tenant on board yet.
WELL Certification
This project type is appropriate when WELL Certification is pursued by the tenant with or without owner/developer involvement.
Industrial sector pricing
WELL Certification or WELL Core Certification pricing applies depending on the appropriate typology. Under WELL v2, industrial space types have separate pricing as indicated on the pricing page:
- WELL Certification - $0.08/sq. ft.
- WELL Core Certification - $0.05/sq. ft.
