A wide range of discounts is available–learn more about how you can benefit.

There are four categories of discounts available to organizations interested in pursuing WELL: sector, small business, emerging market and membership. In addition, organizations that pursue WELL Certification can also receive complimentary WELL Ratings as long as the certification and rating reviews are submitted at the same time. WELL Rating or Certification clients that opt in to WELL at scale are also eligible for discounts.

Discount combination rules include:

• Membership discounts can be combined with either a sector or emerging market discount 
• Sector, small business and emerging market discounts cannot be combined

Sector discounts

To promote health and well-being in organizations that serve the public good, sector discounts are available for the following:

• Government / municipal buildings
• Schools
• Non-profit, charitable organizations
• Low-income / affordable housing
• Senior and assisted living
• Healthcare facilities

The project and its associated owner must qualify to take advantage of a sector discount. 

Industrial locations also benefit from reduced pricing per square foot/meter for WELL Certification.

Small business

Companies from any sector with fewer than 50 employees and less than $10 million in annual revenue are eligible for small business discounts.

Emerging market discounts

Emerging market discounts are available for countries identified as lower-middle or middle income according to the World Bank Atlas Method. The project must be located within an emerging market to take advantage of this discount

IWBI Membership discounts

IWBI member organizations receive a discount depending on their level of membership–see the table below or the complete list of IWBI member benefits to learn more.

Receiving your discounts is easy–when you create a new project or WELL at scale account, we’ll ask a few questions about your location and industry to determine your eligibility for sector or emerging market discounts. To receive membership discounts, make sure the email address used to register your project or account has been added to your organization’s membership account.

Special pricing for WELL EPs and qualifying sectors

• WELL EPs receive discounts for subscribing the entirety of their own enterprise as shown in the table below. Fees are based on either the number of locations OR total square footage, whichever results in a more affordable tier. 
  • EPs that subscribe only a subset of their portfolio will pay the standard fees based on the number of locations being subscribed.
• Market/sector discounts 
  • Qualifying sectors that subscribe their entire enterprise will qualify for special pricing as shown in the fee table below. Fees are based on either the number of locations OR total square footage, whichever results in a more affordable tier. 
    • The 25% sector discount listed previously applies on top of “special pricing” (e.g., if your organization is in a qualifying sector and subscribes 50 locations, your subscription fee will be $22,500).
    • Qualifying sectors include all sectors that qualify for the 25% sector discount (see the "Sector Discounts" section above).
