You can categorize your participating WELL at scale or WELL Rating locations into subsets at any time. Subsets are an optional organizational tool that can be used at various points throughout your WELL process to filter and organize your locations. Subsets also make it easier to assign documents to multiple locations. Instead of tagging the various locations that are using a document, you can instead select all locations within a subset.

You can organize your subsets using the following criteria:

• WELL Version
• Space type 
• Ownership type 
• Location
• Occupancy size range (sq. ft)

• 1. Sign in to your WELL account.

  2. Open your WELL project.

  3. Go to the Locations tab.

  4. Click ‘+Add New’ and select “Create subset.”

  5. Give your subset a name. You can also add a description but it is not required.
  6. Check the boxes next to all locations you want to include in this subset.

  7. Click the Filter button to add filters to find the locations you want to add. You can filter by:

     • WELL version

     • Country/region

     • Space type

     • Ownership type

     • Size

     • Construction status

     • Achievement target

     • Subset

     • Location status (whether it is already in the current subset or not)

     • In most cases, you can add more than one filter to each category. Filters that have already been added will show in a different color–for example, in the image below, 5,000 - 19,999 m² and 20,000 - 49,999 m² were added previously.

     

  8. Once you have added all of the necessary locations on a page, click 'Save and continue' to go to the next page.

  9. When you are finished adding locations, click 'Save and exit' to complete the process.

  Once you have created a subset, you can view them on the ‘Subset” section of the Locations tab.

• 1. Sign in to your WELL account.
  2. Open your WELL project.
  3. Go to the 'Subsets' page on your Locations tab.
  4. Click the Edit button in the Action column of the subset you want to modify.

  5. You can add or remove locations from an existing subset at any time using these steps:

  6. Change the name and/or description if needed, then click 'Save and continue'.
  7. Check the box next to a location to add it to the subset, or uncheck the box to remove it.

  Click the Filter button to add filters to find the locations you want to add. You can filter by:

  • WELL version
  • Country/region
  • Space type
  • Ownership type
  • Size
  • Construction status
  • Achievement target
  • Subset
  • Location status (whether it is already in the current subset or not)
  7. Once you have added all of the necessary locations on a page, click 'Save and continue' to go to the next page.
  8. When you are done adding locations, click 'Save and exit' to complete the process.
• 1. Sign in to your WELL account.
  2. Open your WELL project.
  3. Go to the 'Subsets' page on your Locations tab.
  4. Click the 'Delete' icon in the row of the subset you want to remove. This action cannot be undone.
