Using filters to build your scorecard

There are a variety of filters available in your scorecard–the exact filters you can choose from depend on which version of WELL you are subscribed to. In both WELL v2 and v2 pilot, you can click a concept name along the banner to filter by concept.

What filters are available?

  • Response

    • Show features marked as Yes, Maybe or No on your scorecard

    Verification

    • Filter by verification method (Letter of assurance, on-site photograph, technical document, etc.)

    Document Scale

    • Is the verification method for this feature:

      • Individual - only applies to one location (e.g., performance test)

      • Audited - details location-specific information, only required for the locations chosen for audit (e.g., professional narrative)

      • Shareable - can be used for multiple/all locations (e.g., policy documents)

    Part Type

    • Is the feature a precondition or an optimization

    Priorities

    • Is the feature associated with:

      • Sustainability - Supporting the health of people and planet through design and operational strategies to increase energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, improve water quality and utilize building materials that support the health of both people and planet

      • Community health - Fostering global and community health with strategies that promote locally sourced food, provide outdoor activity spaces, encourage community engagement and create connections between diverse populations and people

      • Personalization - Creating flexible spaces to boost the health and well-being of people with customizable solutions that include adjustable furniture, lighting options, operable windows and temperature controls, along with design strategies that prioritize accessibility and inclusive environments

    Space Type

    • Which space type does the feature apply to (e.g., office space, hotels, airports, etc.)

    Ratings

    • Show features aligned with the WELL Health-Safety Rating, WELL Performance Rating and/or WELL Equity Rating

    Strategy Type

    • Is the strategy related to performance, design, operations or policy?

    Crosswalk (WELL at scale scorecard only)

    • Filter for alignment with other rating systems like LEED, BREEAM or NABERS IE)

    Sustainable Development Goals (WELL at scale scorecard only)

    • Filter based on each feature’s alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

    Responsible Party

    • Which team member is typically responsible for implementing and documenting this feature (engineer, architect, facility manager, etc.)

    GRESB Assessment (WELL at scale scorecard only)

    • Is the feature aligned with GRESB Management, Performance or Development

  • Response

    • Show features marked as Yes, Maybe or No on your scorecard

    Verification

    • Filter by verification method (Letter of assurance, annotated document, performance test.)

    More filters

    • Preconditions

      • Display preconditions (toggle for yes/no)

    • Optimizations

      • Display optimizations (toggle for yes/no)

    • Filter by spaces

      • Include only features applicable to space types represented within this subscription

    • Implementation

      • Filter by the feature’s phase (not started, in progress, completed, needs action, withdrawn)

  • Applies to all Ratings except Health-Safety Rating projects created before April 18, 2023

    • Response

How do I use scorecard filters?

WELL v2, WELL at scale, and all WELL Ratings except Health-Safety Rating projects created before April 18, 2023

  1. Open your project’s scorecard.

  2. Click the filters button at the top of your screen.Using scorecard filters 1.jpg

  3. On the menu that opens to the right of your page, choose all filters you’d like to use, then click Apply

  4. To remove all active filters, click the Clear button.

    1. Open your project’s scorecard.
    2. Click the button for the filter you would like to use at the top of your screen (Response, Verification, More Filters) and check the boxes as needed.
    3. To remove filters, click the Clear All button (v2 pilot) or the . On the Response and More Filters menus, you can also uncheck or toggle filter options to disable individual filters.

    Note: the Clear All button on the Verification and More Filters menu removes all filters, not just the ones on that dropdown menu.

Health-Safety Rating projects created before April 18, 2023

  1. Open your project’s scorecard.
  2. Click the button for the filter you would like to use at the top of your screen (Response, Verification) and check the boxes as needed.
  3. To clear filters, click the refresh icon next to the filter buttons.
