This article contains instructions to unassign options or locations from a document, and to unassign options from locations. These instructions apply to WELL at scale and WELL Ratings projects, except Health-Safety Rating projects created before April 18, 2023.

Unassign options or locations from documents

• 1. Open your Scorecard tab.
  2. Find the feature that the option belongs to.
  3. Go to the Verification page.
  4. Scroll down to the Documents section.
  5. Click ‘Edit’ next to the document you want to modify.

  6. Click ‘Remove’ next to the options you want to remove.

     • If the document you are editing has been approved previously, you will see a warning message informing you that removing this option may reset all locations tagged to this document with ‘Achieved’ status to ‘Pursuing’. Click Continue to confirm.

  7. Repeat as needed, then click 'Save and exit' if you are done or 'Save and continue' if you also need to remove locations.

  2. Find the feature that the option belongs to.
  3. Go to the Verification page.
  4. Scroll down to the Documents section.
  5. Click ‘Edit’ next to the document you want to modify.

  6. Click ''Save and continue' if you need to modify additional locations on another page, or 'Save and exit' when finished.

     • If the document you are unassigning has been approved previously, you will see a warning message informing you that unassigning this location may reset its 'Achieved' status to 'Pursuing' for all options tagged to this document. Click 'Continue' to proceed.

Unassign options from locations

You can unassign options from locations within your WELL at scale or WELL Ratings account if they no longer apply to the location. These instructions apply to WELL at scale and WELL Ratings projects, except Health-Safety Rating projects created before April 18, 2023.

For WELL at scale accounts, this will remove the location’s ‘Achieved’ status in the next review round, if applicable, and the associated documents will be archived.

• 1. Open your Scorecard tab.
  2. Find the feature that the option belongs to.
  3. Go to the Verification page.
  4. Find the relevant option in the 'Selected options' section.
  5. Click ‘Edit locations’.

  6. Find the location(s) you would like to remove and uncheck the box in the left column.

  7. If the location has previously achieved this feature, you will see a warning explaining the consequences of removing the option. Click ‘Continue’ on the pop-up to complete the process.

  8. Click ‘Save changes’.

  5. Click the X at the top right corner of the option.

  6. If any locations have previously achieved this feature, you will see a warning explaining the consequences of removing the option. Click ‘Continue’ on the pop-up to complete the process.
