We’re very excited to have you more directly engaged with WELL and we want you to have a few guidelines at your fingertips to help you tell our shared story. We encourage our IWBI Advisors to showcase their commitment to improving health and well-being in buildings, organizations and communities across the globe in the following ways:
- Announce your IWBI Advisory involvement to your local media.
- Include “WELL [Concept] advisor” in your email signature line or LinkedIn page (e.g., John Smith, WELL Air advisor).
- Help IWBI grow the global WELL community through social media.
If you have questions about promoting your engagement with the IWBI advisory program, please reach out to advisories@wellcertified.com.
How to Reference Your Advisor Role
We are diligent protectors of our trademarks and want you to be familiar with how we use them. Below, you’ll find a few style guidelines, template language and tips for referencing your role as an IWBI Advisor.
- When referring to the individual Advisor or Advisory, capitalize the concept as a proper noun (e.g., “WELL Nourishment Advisor” or “IWBI Research Advisory”).
- When discussing the Advisor scope of work, use terms like “participation,” “engagement,” “guide/guidance” or “contribute to.”
- Refrain from using terms like consult,” “vote,” “decision making” or “membership” as these have specific legal and governance implications that are not part of the advisor role.
- Once your term is complete, please refer to yourself as a former IWBI Advisor.
