The consultant’s responsibilities and role at a glance
- Understand what goals and WELL concepts are most important to their client
- Clearly communicate WELL requirements to their client & determine feasibility
- Build a custom scorecard (WELL Certification | WELL Ratings | WELL at scale) with their client & establish goals/targets
- Gather documentation and confirm WELL requirements are addressed
- Discuss the submission and resubmission processes with their client
- Respond to WELL review comments during documentation process
- Support their client in promoting achievements
- Help client educate employees, tenants, or other stakeholders on benefits of WELL
Timeline
- The first few WELL projects may require more time, given that the process is new to a consultant and their team. However, IWBI offers a wealth of templates, tools and other resources available to assist throughout the certification process, especially during the documentation stage:
