Project status
Public projects are able to showcase their WELL efforts when they elect to be made visible within our project directory. By making your project public, you will allow visitors to the project directory to see your project's square footage, certification level or milestone achieved and any information you choose to enter on the Profile tab of your project's dashboard. Your documentation, review comments, features pursued, etc. will not be displayed. Once an organization or project has been made public, you cannot change the status to private in the future as the information has already been made available to the general public.
Private organizations and projects cannot:
- Market themselves to the general public as participants in WELL programs or as having applied for or achieved any certification or rating
- Use or display any IWBI intellectual property, including the plaque, seal or WELL Score.
See the "Use of project information" section of the Program Guidebook for more details.
-
Setting your WELL at scale organization's privacy status to Public allows it to show in the organization directory. This will not affect the privacy status of any of your organization's individual locations–they will retain their previous privacy status, and you may choose to make them public or private on a case-by-case basis.
Your organization's directory page will include your membership level and any information you have chosen to include on your subscription's Profile page. It will not display the size of your subscription, your achievements or WELL Score, or any details of the individual projects included in your subscription.
Change your project's status
- Navigate to the Edit tab and check that you are in the "Project Information" section (or "Account Information" for WELL at scale).
-
Scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the applicable question below depending on how you are engaged with WELL:
-
WELL Certification or WELL Community: "Is this a public project?"
-
WELL Ratings: "Is this participation considered public?"
-
WELL at scale: "Is this account public?"
-
- Choose "no" if you want the project to be private or "yes" if you want it to be public. Once you have made your selection, press "Save changes" at the bottom of the screen.
