Review published AAPs and equivalencies to see if they can help your project meet the health intent of a feature.

• You can use published AAPs and equivalencies from the same version of WELL regardless of addenda version - for example, if your project is enrolled under WELL v2 with Q4 2022 addenda, you may use a published AAP from the WELL v2 Q2 2022 addenda.
• You may not use an AAP or equivalency from a different version of WELL–for example, you cannot use an AAP published under WELL v2 for a WELL v2 pilot project.

View published AAPs and equivalencies per feature

For WELL v2 pilot, WELL v2, WELL ratings (Health-Safety Rating | Performance Rating | Equity Rating) and WELL Community, published AAPs and equivalencies can be found under the Alternatives tab. For WELL v1, each feature page in the digital WELL Building Standard has tabs that link to the features' AAPs and equivalencies.

Pre-approved programs

The list of WELL Pre-approved programs may be used to meet innovation features. Includes green building rating systems, gateways to well-being and gateways to health-safety programs.

Use a published alternative

To use a published alternative for your project, include the published AAP or EP number with the documentation required by the AAP or equivalency to let the reviewers know that you are using the AAP.
