Addenda are quarterly updates IWBI publishes to make achieving WELL features more feasible, flexible or to make requirements more clear by updating language to be more specific. Addenda are not automatically applied to project accounts, but projects can easily adopt the latest addenda version and have their scorecard update to display the latest requirements. Project accounts will retain stored comments, selections and documents. The requirement language is the primary thing that is changed. Keep in mind that you can only upgrade to a newer addenda.
Be sure to alert any relevant team members if the upgrade changes expectations of what they are responsible for achieving and documenting.
To upgrade to a newer addenda:
- Sign in to your WELL account
- Load your project or organization's dashboard
- Go to your Support tab.
- Click "Get Help" - be sure to let us know which addenda version you'd like to upgrade to.
You can also choose to upgrade individual feature parts to a more recent addenda version. To do so, make a note in your documentation or in a narrative for the feature part you wish to upgrade indicating which addenda version you are upgrading to.
