Where to begin

Step 1: Choose your location type:

Single location

• Ideal for organizations looking to prioritize data-driven performance improvements in a single space or location.

Multiple locations

• Projects that enroll multiple locations of the same type, with a single owner and payer, are eligible for a reduced price per location.

Step 2: Determine your price

Single location

• Enrollment fee: $5,000.
• Reduced pricing of $3,750 for small businesses.

Multiple locations

• Save as you scale. With more locations, pay less per building.
• Pricing ranges from $5,000 to $17 per location, depending on the size of your enrollment. View the detailed fee table.

Step 3: Find additional ways to save

• Save up to 25% when you join our membership program. This discount can be combined with qualifying price reductions. 
  • Projects that are registered for WELL Certification or WELL at scale can pursue the WELL Performance Rating for free. Simply submit documentation for both WELL Certification and the WELL Performance Rating simultaneously. • If you wish to submit documentation for WELL Performance outside of your certification or recertification timeline, you can do so for $3,000.
• Organizations in emerging markets and certain sectors qualify for a 25% price reduction on enrollment (see details below).

Performance testing fees

Additional fees apply for on-site testing. Prices are set by the Performance Testing Organization and vary depending on the features chosen by your team.

Understanding price reduction eligibility

Organizations that meet the below criteria are eligible for reduced pricing rates, reflecting a 25% savings on our current list prices. Eligible markets and sectors include:

Emerging markets

• Eligible countries are listed in the "lower-middle" and "low" income groups per the World Bank Atlas Method. This index analyzes Gross National Income per capita at nominal values.

Small businesses

• Companies with less than 50 employees and less than $10 million in revenue.

Organizations who serve the public good

• Education: All educational facilities, such as public and private schools, primary and secondary and higher education.
• Senior and assisted living: Spaces that provide any level of supervised care and support services to residents, such as aging adults, disabled youth or long-term care patients.
• Low-income/affordable housing: Projects may be considered "low-income housing" for the purposes of WELL if at least 40% of units are reserved for households making 60% or less than the area median income and if housing costs are deemed "affordable" for those households. Housing is defined as "affordable" when total cost of rent is no more than 33% of income; thus, total annual cost must not exceed 20% of area median income.
• Non-profits: Projects projects may be considered non-profits if the primary business conducted in a given space falls within the non-profit sector.
• Healthcare: All healthcare facilities, such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers and doctor's offices.
• Government and Municipal buildings: Buildings that serve "government agencies", which are entities 100% owned by government and serve government function.

Additional fees

In addition to enrollment, some additional fees may include:

• Curative action: Fees for curative action are currently set at $1,500/review.
• Additional Reviews: Each additional submission is subject to an additional fee starting at $2,500 and calculated based on the complexity of the documentation review. Locations with separate or distinct uses enroll separately.
• Additional seals: WELL Performance Rated projects receive four complimentary seals per location, up to 1,600 seals. The complimentary packages include shipping to one location. Additional seal packages of four are available for $10 each.
