WELL Precertification
IWBI awards an interim designation, WELL Precertification, to projects that demonstrate intentions and commitments to achieving WELL strategies. This award is a milestone that helps project teams know they’re on the right track and allows the organization to communicate their progress to key stakeholders. Precertification may be especially relevant for projects with long construction timelines. Precertification fees are credited toward your project's final program fees.

WELL Health-Safety Rating
The WELL Health-Safety Rating features are a subset of those available through the WELL Building Standard, which addresses a more comprehensive set of health topics. Adapted to focus specifically on facilities operations and management, the WELL Health-Safety Rating provides an accessible entry point to WELL Certification or the WELL Portfolio program.
WELL Certification projects may pursue the WELL Health-Safety Rating at no additional cost as long as Certification and Health-Safety Rating documentation are submitted simultaneously.

WELL Performance Rating
The WELL Performance Rating is based on a subset of features from the WELL Building Standard that enables organizations to focus on measurable building performance strategies verified through onsite testing and sensor technology.
The WELL Performance Rating was developed with verifiable strategies in mind and third-party validation at its heart:
- Performance measurements cover air, light and water quality as well as thermal and acoustic comfort.
- Occupant experience surveys connect building performance with the people inside, so organizations can make smarter decisions for their employees and business.

WELL Equity Rating
The WELL Equity Rating is a subset of strategies from the WELL Building Standard that empower organizations to take action toward diversity, equity and inclusion goals while driving improvements in company culture and employee health.
The WELL Equity Rating and WELL v2 Certification are 100% aligned, which means organizations can apply achievements from one to the other.
